Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Your privacy is important to Lunatere. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Information We Collect: When you book a session, we collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, and date, time, and place of birth. For compatibility readings, the same birth details are also collected for the second individual. You may also voluntarily provide additional information through the booking form, such as what you hope to explore in your session. Payment details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never seen or stored by Lunatere. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. Contact form messages are delivered to us by email and are not stored on this website.
How We Use Your Information: We use your information only in connection with providing our services, including all related communications. We do not use your personal information for marketing purposes, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services.
Birth Chart Calculator: The free birth chart calculator on this website works without an account and does not store your information. The name you enter stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. To produce your chart, the calculator sends:
- the city you search for to OpenStreetMap’s location services (Nominatim and Photon), to find its coordinates
- those coordinates to a time zone lookup service (timezonefinder.michelfe.it), to find the time zone at your place of birth
- your birth date, time, coordinates, and time zone to our calculation service, hosted on Vercel, which returns the planetary positions
Your birth details are used only to calculate your chart and are not saved. Like most online services, these providers may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses.
Third-Party Services: We use the following third-party platforms in the course of providing our services, each of which has its own privacy practices:
- Our website hosting provider: hosts this website and delivers contact form messages
- Cal.com: our online booking and scheduling system
- Stripe: securely processes payments for bookings
- Zoom: used to conduct sessions
- Vercel: hosts the calculation service for the birth chart calculator
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) and Photon by Komoot: location search for the birth chart calculator
- timezonefinder.michelfe.it: time zone lookup for the birth chart calculator
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these platforms directly.
Data Retention: We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and maintain appropriate records.
Data Security: We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your Rights: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request that it be corrected or deleted. To make such a request, please contact us through the contact form on our website.
Children’s Privacy: Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
Changes to This Policy: We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
Contact: If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please reach out through the contact form on our website.
